The recipe for grapefruit Marmalade. It is advisable to use pink grapefruit, especially for their color.
–1.5 kg of yellow grapefruit untreated, i.e. 1 net kg of pulp
–800 g sugar
(1) wash grapefruit and dry.
-Collect 200 g of grapefruit zest strips.
-Peel the grapefruit, it should not stay white filaments or glitches.
-Grind the oranges in a mill in vegetables with a grid of medium size.
(2) put the Orange puree in a jam with the sugar bowl.
-Bring to a boil and let Cook for 7 minutes, stirring frequently.
-Add the grapefruit zest and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes.
(3) check doneness: a bit of jam on a cold plate must be fixed quickly.
-Put in pot, cover and sterilize.
